My love affair with the doberman began in 1986 with my first dobe Bean, a big girl from Texas. Bean was with me until 11/22/99. Please visit Beans page she was the ultimate mellow, charming doberman. Gentle to a fault, Bean was everyones love. Jane came into my life shortly after I lost my Bean. She is an Aeolus doberman, bred by Candace and Tom Dewey of Pearland, TX. I thank them for sending me such a fine girl. She is my first showdog and she is quite the versatile doberman. Smart, funny, sweet, beautiful and charming Jane has introduced me to the world of dog show competition, and what a good time we are having. Jane began strutting her stuff in the show ring Thanksgiving weekend 2000 and by December 9 she had her first win and a big one it was - a four point major, best of opposite sex over top twenty specials at the Boston Expo specialty show! Jane was a 2003 DPCA Top Twenty Finalist, she is a multigroup and specialty show winner, and was awarded an AOM at the 2002 Westminster Kennel Club. Jane has successfully competed in obedience, rally and agility and has many performance titles. Jane was bred to BIS/BISS Ch Dabney's Phenomenon and delivered one feisty redhead on 12/29/04 Bakari's African Queen "Kate". Miss Kate finished her championship on the competitive Florida circuit and is currently competing in agility, was recently awarded her OA, OAJ and NF titles. She is also training in obedience and rally. Kate will be bred in spring 2009 to Ch Traditions Red Son CGC TDI CD RE NA NAP NAJ NJP ROM.
